CO-HOSTS: THE FUNNY WOMACKS – Rockingham, VA
Dawn & Chris Womack are a dynamic local comedy couple behind X2 Comedy kicking off the series with a husband & wife duo set to mix up the fun:-) Dawn brings a warmth, charm and “we are family” vibe to the stage and her podcast with her lighthearted observational humor on her human experience. While Chris exposes a witty comedic style paired with a dry sarcastic sense of observational humor in the classroom and now on stage. By day Chris professes Kinesiology at JMU and Dawn hosts the podcast Virginia Is for Laughers, a podcast about all things non-hiking in the Shenandoah Valley;-) They teach the X2 Comedy intro to stand up classes at Explore More and their newest adventure is Uncorked Laughter, a wine class and comedy experience.
DAWN MAST – Stuarts Draft, VA
Local to the Shenandoah Valley, Dawn is a storyteller clean comic with a playful twist who believes laughter is truly the best medicine. She and her husband, Mark, have 4 children, 2 dogs and the inability to keep houseplants alive. She is a writer & speaker for Encouragement Cafè ministries. She has 6 siblings, her family owns a bookstore and she’s a cancer survivor.
ADAM FREESMAN – Baltimore, MD
Baltimore’s Adam Freesman delights audiences with his quick wit and sarcastic humor. Adam is a comic and sketch writer out of Baltimore who also produces shows for Don’t Tell Comedy. This Baltimore Comedian of the Year Finalist 2021-2023 has been on a fast rise in the DC/Baltimore comedy scenes. He’s performed at renowned venues around the country including The Comedy Store, The Stand, Second City and has opened for Modi, Anthony Devito, and others.
LESLIE ROB – Fredericksburg, VA
Prepare to experience contagious upbeat energy and quirky fun with a side of sassy observational humor that leaves you in stitches with this headliner! Leslie is an award-winning international standup comedian who has performed stand up on ABC’s The Tamron Hall Show, Bored Teachers Comedy Tour, Teachers Do Stand Up Tour, The Unknown Tour and Spirit FM’s Night of Love & Laughter. Most recently, she filmed a Dry Bar Comedy special in Provo, Utah to be released soon! Her videos on social media brought laughter to millions across her platforms and the story featured in The Washington Post. She is also well known for bringing her comedy and encouragement to theaters, stages and conferences for professional development worldwide.
