You can make your next poetry reading (or any presentation) a true joy for yourself and your audience with just one or two proven tips that work with your unique style. This class will provide you with over 25 practical and easy-to-implement tips to choose from, and only volunteers will be asked to share their learning with the class if they choose to do so. So relax, enjoy, and come build community with other practitioners of this ancient art and make your next presentation a breathtaking, memorable, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
J. Scott Price is a local award-winning poet noted for his engaging, conversational presentation style and emotionally charged poetry. He was previously a Soldier for 24 years, earned an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and is a fellow of the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
