Meet the Dancers

Eve McKennah Stanley started dancing in her hometown of Frederick, Maryland at the age of 2 years old. After training within studios she auditioned for Barbara Ingram School for The Arts (BISFA), where she knew she wanted to dance professionally. At 16 Eve graduated from BISFA and was accepted into Shenandoah Conservatory. At age 20, she graduated with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She gained many dance and leadership achievements while at the conservatory. During her studies, she became certified in Mat Pilates through Health Fitness Education.

Eve has had the great pleasure of performing with professional artists and guest choreographers as well as taking master dance classes/intensives with various companies. Following graduation, Eve continued her journey in her career along the East Coast. Eve is delighted to bring forth her passion for performing arts as the Artistic Director of Italia Performing Arts Institute’s ARTEINMOVIMENTO Dance Company and bring a stronger dance presence to Northern VA.

Becca Hopkins is from Chesapeake, Virginia, where she trained at Danceland II School of Dance and Todd Rosenlieb Dance throughout childhood. Hopkins will graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah University in May 2023, and plans to pursue her Master’s of Science in Performing Arts Leadership and Management in 2024. She is proficient in Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, and Musical Theatre dance styles, as well as Musical Theatre vocal training. Hopkins has a passion for dance education, and enjoys sharing her knowledge of dance with students of all ages. In June 2023, Becca began dancing professionally with ARTEINMOVIMENTO.
