The Upbeat Downtown Series welcomes two of the Valley’s high-spirited alternative rock bands,

Drägön Wägön is a state of mind, like Montana, if Montana was that scene from Die Hard when Bruce Willis duct tapes a gun to his back. Drägön Wägön is the best rock, punk, alternative band in Staunton Virginia, featuring JeffMo on lead guitar & vocals, Roz Collins on bass guitar & vocals, and Beardfist on drums & vocals.
Mothman Rodeo hails from Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, playing an exciting mix of original & classic outlaw country, rock, psychobilly & cow punk the band calls #cryptidcountry! This ‘super group’ features Rev. Bill Howard & Jess Bergh of The Judy Chops, + Blake Cramer of Trout Mouth, along with Aaron Gray of Within Our Gates, & Justin Carver of ‘Low Water Bridge Band.
